July 3: Travel to Cincinnati
We actually pulled out of Chattanooga at 8:05 this morning and had an
uneventful drive until we got just outside of Cincinnati. Traffic delayed us
about 45 minutes, so we had to check into our rooms and rush over to the
church. The church fed us dinner and then we prepared for the perfomance.
After some problems with the girls' interpretation of proper concert attire,
we were ready. We performed with the Cincinnati Girls Choir and the Bel Canto
Choir. They sang for us, we sang for them, and then they all sang "The Lord
Bless You And Keep You" together. Our girls did us proud! They sounded great
for the audience which included Mr. Wigal's parents and Cecelia and Jeanelle.
We're back at the hotel, and waiting for the girls to settle down for the
night. It could be a long wait. And then we're on to Canada tomorrow.
